Capturing customer information is critical to the success of your business. The challenge however, is trying to make it as easy as possible at the register to get the data in, save and go on to the next transaction.

It’s no secret that information equals power, especially when it comes to running a business.
- The power to analyze reports to determine whose buying what and when.
- The power to send targeted emails out the door based on customers who have purchased in a certain category
- The power to target customers who haven’t visited your store in a while
So how can you capture information?
As you probably know, NCR Counterpoint lets you add customers on the fly from your Point of Sale Register. What you may not know is you have the ability to modify the “Customer add on the fly” screen to be able to capture just the information you want.
So for example, if you are adding a new loyalty program and all you want to capture is:
- Name
- Phone
- Turn on the loyalty program
